Urban Motor Spring Ride - April 2013

Urban Motor - Luckenwalde - Bad Saarow am Scharmützelseee, that was our tour! Not everything as planned, but hey, that just makes it interesting!


Many thanks to Sven and Peter from Urban Motor and their invitation to join. It was a great group, some really nice people with great bikes.

After meeting at Urban Motors workshop close to Berlins Jannowitzbrücke, we immediatelly took off heading south, aiming to arrive in Luckenwalde for Lunch around noon. Nobody was speeding, we were all enjoying the weather and the sun and enjoyed the simple fact of riding together. Lunch was simple and great, typicall German food like “Schwarzbrot” (dark bread) with sausage and “Soljanka” soup, which is also very (east?!) German. On the way back to Berlin we approached Berlin from the South East and had a last stop in Bad Saarow at a beautiful cafe at a lake. Great coffee and some cake, also, typical German coffee snack around 3pm.

After arriving at Urban Motors workshop again, we closed this great day with some motorcycle chat and some great beer. Perfect Day! THANKS!


I’ll post some bikes and pictures with this post, but will also post more in some extra posts (for example the RAD Yamaha XS400 from Ralf which you can see below).

Beautiful MotoGuzzi Caferacer, spotted in Berlin Kreuzberg

What a ride, what a Moto Guzzi! thought this would be Sven’s Guzzi from #urbanmotor but it just looked similar (which he sold a little while ago)! So sick.Check out Sven’s Guzzi over at Bikeexif HERE.
 
I talked to the owner for a few minutes! He loves beautiful bikes just as much as I do and owns the bike in this look (chrome tank etc) for about 5 years if I remember correctly (excuse me if I remember wrong sir ;)! Would have loved to take this baby on a little cruise!
